I bought these in hopes they could address the pain I’ve been having at the base of my big toe when it bends upward. As you can see from the pictures, they fit true to size in the shoe, and are *very* low profile and lightweight, making for a pretty seamless slip-in to any shoe.They are stiff (as to be expected), but not too uncomfortable. Upon my first test run on the treadmill, I was delighted with how the usual pain at the base of my toe was mitigated.I’d recommended giving these a try to anyone dealing with the same sort of issue!

I have been wearing a pair under orthotic insoles in both shoes now for about six weeks. I have not needed to use a cane and my metatarsal are finally healing. These carbon fiber inserts stiffen my shoes and prevent over extention allowing healing.Tega carbon fiber insoles are made in Turkey. It is refreshing to find a product on Amazon that isn't Chinese made.

Wow, foot doctor recommended that I either order custom orthotics for $500...or have surgery to fuse my big toe...NOT HAPPENING! Was glad to find these insoles. They REALLY help me out a lot. I've always been a very active person, working out 5 to 6 days a week. Now at 63, naturally I've worn away cartilage. After wearing these, I experience no swelling or pain, but the comfort is incredible. Unlike other orthotics, these are thin carbon and do not make your shoe feel like it's over stuffed - which is great when you wear half or hidden socks. I don't have any problems with the socks slipping. Besides the comfort, you really can't tell anything is in your shoe except for that extra support when you take a step. They feel great! Highly recommend

I had to get this based on the recommendation from my Doctor and the item was delivered overnight. The item is exactly as described and provides very good support and easy to use between my shoes.The carbon fiber sole is very rigid and helps with the Hallus Rigidus even on my shoes that are by default quite flexible. By placing this under my insole, I get the combination of cushioning and support as needed.

Stiffened shoes below the big toe joint which relieves the pain from RA. Wear in trail runners (see photo) and sneakers. Don't work well for me w slip-ons since the stiffness pulls the heel off as I walk. Does impact shoe fit/volume if insoles are not flat, so bring with you to try on shoes. After telling my friend, he bought these too for his big toe pain.

I got these insoles thinking it might help relieve arthritis but I don't know if it will because I couldn't get used to them. The insoles are well made carbon fiber, very very rigid and inflexible. At first I put them in sneakers under the insole. My heel and ball of foot felt every hardness of the ground when walking; only my toes were comfortable. Maybe cause I'm used to walking with foamy insoles to absorb the hard ground. Also the side of my wide feet lapped over to my insoles; the carbon fiber insoles are not wide so there is a gap on either one side of the shoe, depending which side you push it up against. So then I thought I would put into a pair of bicycle training shoes, which would benefit from the rigid: same problem my toes and sides of foot was off the insoles. So these insoles are not for me since I don't have the other issues other than arthritis from being on my feet all day. But the product itself is definitely well made, rigid and probably would benefit someone with the orthopedic issues listed. So I gave it 4 stars even though it wasn't comfortable for me. The 1 star deduct is for the narrowness of it, definitely not for semi-wide to wide feet.

I ordered these upon the strong recommendation of my podiatrist due to a joint issue in both big toes ordered size 7/7.5 based on my shoe size you definitely do need to go up one size on these as they were a good inch too short the next size up was going to take a couple weeks(fulfilled by Amazon) which was very frustrating being I’m in pain reached out to the seller directly sent me out a pair of the size I needed immediately thank you so much again great customer serviceupdate as I took these inserts out to put in a different shoe after less than three months, they are breaking down have sharp edges should have lasted longer for the amount of money I paid this was just normal use of me being on my feet all day, which is why I needed them for severe arthritis in my big toes

I ordered based on size chart and it is slightly too big, should have ordered one size smaller. Not a big deal i can trim a 1/4 inch off of it.

Placed the Morton extension in my biking shoe and it greatly reduced the pain.

Although size 9 only fits in 2 pairs of shoes. A shade shorter would have been ideal. Love the whole idea, though. And amazing customer service at Tega!

These help alleviate my toe pain due to arthritis immediately. I hope they last a long time - they make walking and hiking the pleasure they should be rather than a crooked limp as I protect my toe!

I was diagnosed with with arthritis in the joint of my big toe and instructed to place a carbon fiber insert in my shoe. Now, not only does my toe joint hurt, but the arch and top on my foot hurt so badly I can't walk.

These carbon fiber inserts eliminated my pain when walking and playing court sports which I thought I would have to give up Life saver

As thin as it is, the insert still increases the pressure on my bone spurs so that impossible to wear a shoe. I requested a refund but have heard nothing.

Have used them for years. Price is very reasonable and the orthotic greatly reduces big toe pain.

Very happy with the Tega products I started with one and was so impressed with the quality and comfort that I bought two more.

I've been using these for a year, helping with the pain in my arthritic big toe while also using good shoes with a significant rocker, and also taking curcumin/turmeric with black pepper extract. I'll probably need surgery when the pain intensifies and will continue to employ these methods afterward. As these old feet are wearing out, I use the inserts in both shoes. I truly appreciate the support that Tega provides, not only physically but with their generosity to first-time customers and their great communication.

I really love these so far. They give the support I need, but there's no noticeable bulk adding them to the shoe. I wish I hadn't thrown out all of my old insoles now ;)
