IMPORTANT SAFETY & USAGE INFORMATION

Please read these instructions before using your TEGA carbon fiber insole.

Intended Use

TEGA carbon fiber insoles are designed to increase footwear rigidity and reduce bending or flexing of the shoe and foot, depending on the product selected.

Because increasing footwear rigidity can change how the foot and ankle move during walking, running, sports, or other activities, proper fit and gradual adaptation are important.

Break-In Period

Allow your body time to adjust to the increased rigidity.

For first-time users, begin with approximately 10–15 minutes of use and gradually increase wear time over several days as comfort allows.

Avoid immediately using a new rigid insole for prolonged walking, running, sports, hiking, or other high-impact activities.

If discomfort develops, remove the insole and allow symptoms to resolve before considering further use.

WARNING

Stop using the product if you experience:

• New or worsening foot, heel, ankle, Achilles tendon, knee, or lower-leg pain
• Significant or persistent discomfort
• Numbness or tingling
• Skin irritation, pressure points, or blistering
• Instability or loss of balance
• An unusual or uncomfortable change in your walking or running pattern

Do not continue using the product through pain.

Pain or persistent discomfort may indicate that the product, stiffness level, size, footwear combination, or intended activity is not appropriate for you.

Consult a Healthcare Professional Before Use If:

You have a known foot, ankle, Achilles tendon, knee, or lower-extremity condition;

You are recovering from an injury, fracture, or surgery;

You have diabetes, neuropathy, impaired circulation, reduced sensation, or another condition that may affect your ability to recognize pressure or injury;

You have been instructed by a healthcare professional to restrict or modify foot or ankle movement; or

You are uncertain whether a rigid insole is appropriate for your condition or activity.

If the product was recommended as part of treatment or rehabilitation for an injury or medical condition, follow the instructions of your healthcare professional.

Proper Fit

Before use, make sure the insole:

• Is the correct size for your footwear
• Lies securely and properly inside the shoe
• Does not create excessive pressure against the toes, heel, or sides of the foot
• Does not move excessively during use
• Does not cause the foot to sit improperly inside the shoe

Carbon fiber insoles may not fit properly in every type of footwear. Shoes with strongly curved, narrow, or highly contoured footbeds may affect fit and comfort.

Do not force an insole into footwear in which it does not fit properly.

Selecting the Appropriate Rigidity

TEGA carbon fiber insoles are available in different levels of rigidity.

A higher level of rigidity is not necessarily better for every user or activity. Increased rigidity generally results in greater restriction of footwear flex and may require a longer adaptation period.

Select the rigidity level appropriate for your intended use and comfort.

If you are unsure which rigidity level is appropriate for a medical condition, injury, rehabilitation program, or specific athletic activity, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Sports and High-Impact Activities

Walking, running, hiking, court sports, rucking, and other high-impact activities place additional stress on the feet and lower extremities.

Become comfortable walking with the product before using it during strenuous or high-impact activity.

Do not begin a long-distance or high-intensity activity immediately after switching to a new rigidity level.

Stop activity and discontinue use if new pain, significant discomfort, instability, or an abnormal gait develops.

Inspect Before Use

Inspect the carbon fiber insole periodically.

Do not use the product if it is:

• Cracked or broken
• Severely worn
• Delaminated
• Damaged around the edges
• Permanently deformed in a way that affects fit or function

Replace a damaged product before continuing use.

Important Medical Information

TEGA carbon fiber insoles are not a substitute for professional medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment.

Unless specifically stated otherwise and supported by applicable regulatory requirements, TEGA products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or injury.

Individual results and comfort may vary depending on anatomy, footwear, activity level, existing medical conditions, and the selected rigidity.

If you experience persistent or severe symptoms, discontinue use and seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional.
