Very Rigid Carbon Fiber Insole (1.5mm)

these have no flax in them at all. like a plate of steel.
OK for my feet but if you want some flex dont use the very rigid.

Even though I didn’t end up keeping because it made my shoes too tight, I think it’s a great product and the customer service is amazing. Maybe in the future I would consider one that wasn’t so rigid? Great product.

Exactly what I needed to replace a long-lost and much more expensive shoe insert. Has helped immensely with a painful big toe due to arthritis.

The insole is well made and very rigid as advertised. I was mislead by the instructions to measure current shoe insoles and then also to size up if between sizes. I wear size 9, but my insole measurements (on two different shoes) fell in the range for a W9.5 Tega insole. This unfortunately really stretches the toe of my shoe, though it does slide into the shoes. Will try to switch out for a size 9. I'd recommend sizing down if you are between sizes!

Received the order in a timely manner. I am pleased with the product and have been enjoying the relief of my foot pain.

The very rigid carbon insoles have really helped me with the arthritis in my foot.
There is a significant difference in my ability to walk

I recently had TMT fusion surgery to fuse a few bones in my foot. As part of my recovery, I am moving from an AFO brace to the very rigid carbon fiber insole. So far, I find the very rigid insole gives the same support to my foot as the AFO brace. I am learning to walk again without the AFO brace.

Great product except for the squeaking. I tried powder but it didn’t do much. Still they are easy to use and prevented excessive bending of the foot which helped my arthritic joints.

The pain from arthritis in my left foot is history.

I needed some support for my foot when I sprained it and this very rigid insole has made it easier to get around.

These work great! I tore my lis franc ligament 10 years ago and it's never healed 100% These insoles do a great job stiffening up my sneakers and reducing the pain I get from walking.

I bought this insole after a broken foot when my doctor reccomended additional support. Overall, I generally like it. It's very rigid, fits my shoe and was the most affordable option. The only thing I wish is that it was contoured more to a general foot shape (it's completely flat), as standing on it for long periods of time is uncomfortable. However, I do recognize that then you lose the ambidextrous nature, so overall, I feel like it's a good value for what you pay.

This is the second C. F. plate I have purchased. I use them due to partial foot amputation, so my shoes do not fold unnaturally. This time I noticed it was thinner, than the previous one. Thinner, as in shoe width. Do you offer these in a wider format ?

I have advanced hallux rigidus, and walking more than a few minutes is very painful. With this insert, I am now able to walk without significant pain. I have only been using these for about 2 weeks, so I don't know if the good results will continue, but I am hopeful.

Tega customer support is outstanding. At first, they sent the wrong one. After notifying them, they immediately sent the correct insert overnight, and sent me a free mailing label to mail back the old one.

I was told by my doctor that I could get out of the boot for my broken foot and put this in my running shoe. It came so fast! Happy to be able to drive again.

I definitely need the Very Rigid. In fact, I could use an "Extra Rigid" insole that would be about 2.0 mm thick. (I doubled 2 rigids , one on top of another, and this gave me the best relief with my Hallus Rigidus).

One other comment - your insoles are quite narrow. I have a medium width foot , and there is quite a bit of space , sidewise, between the insole and the inside of the shoe.

Otherwise you have a very valuable product.

These inserts are a great help for my Halicus Rigidus. They improved my flexible shoes very much.

Wearing it now and it’s doing what the surgeon wanted.

This worked really well with the 3rd and 4th toe being broken.

I have tried several expensive athletic shoes without success. Finally, I can wear my athletic shoes and walk distances without my feet hurting. The very rigid insole is very effective for hallux limitus and fits nicely in all my shoes. Thank you!!

An awesome product

Tega inserts give me freedom to walk without pain. Would like to see larger than 11.60 lengths as I wear a 15 x 9E men's shoe.

I ordered a size 8 and it is too small for my shoes. They are more like a size 7.

Instant relief with these carbon fiber rigid insoles!

I found that it takes a little bit getting used to in terms of having this very rigid insole in my shoe. I have to make sure that the shoes I decide to wear have removable insoles so I can place it underneath that insole. The thickness is really good and it does not make my shoes tighter. I have to pick the right shoe, because in one slip on shoe wearing the insole would make the back of my shoe pop off. So for me it has not worked in every single shoe. I found I have to work up to wearing it for longer and longer periods of time. The most important thing is my toe seems to be recovering better now. That is a relief after 11 months out of surgery and still having problems. So pleased my doctor recommended these insoles.
